Dress for Success San Francisco provides a network of support, professional attire and development tools to help women not just survive but thrive in both work and in life.  Our vision is a world where women do not live in poverty; are treated with dignity and respect; are strengthening their families and shaping their communities. 

Since our founding in 1997, Dress for Success has expanded to more than 154 cities in 28 countries, supporting over 1 million women in their journey towards self-sufficiency.  Our local affiliate Dress for Success San Francisco, recently celebrated its 14th year, serving over 8,000 women. Our satellite office Dress for Success San Jose opened 6 years ago and expanded our services even further, serving more communities throughout the Bay Area including Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo and Sonoma counties.

What We Do

Dress for Success SF offers a continuum of services and support from beginning to end.  We equip women with the tools and resources to secure jobs for the long-haul and help them establish a strong financial foundation on which to build a more secure life, stable family and stronger community. Our programs include Suiting Program; Workforce Development and Career Center; Professional Women's Group Employment Retention Program; and Financial Literacy.
